Lava Rock beads are literally made from cooled down molten rock (Basalt, an igneous rock). In order for rock to melt, it has to reach temperatures as high as 1,000 degrees Celsius beneath a volcano. When a volcano erupts, red hot molten rock spills out of the volcano and flows away as lava until it becomes cool, solid, porous and black.

Using essential oils with lava bead: place a few drops of your favorite essential oil the beads on the bracelet. The easiest way is to add the oil on your palms first and then roll the beads back and fault. You can rub the residue on your hands and inhale for extra benefit. Wait a few minutes for the oil to absorb into the bead before putting it on, to avoid staining your clothes.
